i’ve got a fat research paper due this wednesday so i’ve been (art) nerding out loads with the occasional Beyonce dance break in between.
my paper is about comparing/contrasting these three artists: Luis Gispert, Margaret Kilgallen and Felix Gonzalez-Torres (i personally chose them).
and MY GOD. Felix Gonzalez-Torres is blowing my mind. i knew he was fucking amazing. but damn, is he fucking amazing. incredibly intelligent, very critical and well-read. can’t wait to finish this paper so i can read more. it’s rare that i not only become satisfied about papers i’ve written, but also learning a well amount of things. i just had to get this off my chest. do read as many interviews you can find on him, you won’t be disappointed.
